I had a few side projects, each with its own domain. I wanted professional email addresses for all of them - contact@, hello@, support@ - but I didn't want to pay Google $7/user/month for each one.
That's $84/year for a single email address. For five domains with two addresses each, you're looking at $840/year. For email routing. Into the Gmail inbox I already use every day.
I tried the DIY route - Cloudflare email routing for receiving, a self-hosted SMTP relay for sending. It worked, but the setup was painful. DNS records, DKIM key generation, SMTP credential management, Gmail “Send mail as” configuration. Every new domain meant repeating the whole process.
So I automated it. SendMailAs handles the entire setup - DNS zone creation, email routing, SMTP credentials, authentication records - in about five minutes. You paste one set of credentials into Gmail and you're done.
The result: custom domain email in Gmail, starting free, with none of the Workspace overhead.

DNS management and inbound email routing. Your domain's MX records point to Cloudflare, which forwards incoming mail to your Gmail.
Outbound email relay with raw-byte DKIM signing. When you hit send in Gmail, your message routes through our server with proper authentication.
SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records are created automatically for every domain. No DNS expertise needed.
No app to install, no mailbox to check. Emails arrive in your existing Gmail inbox and you reply from your custom address.
No email content is stored on our servers. We handle routing and authentication only.
Your deliverability depends on our infrastructure's reputation. We take that seriously.
New accounts start at 20 emails/day. Limits increase automatically as your account builds a clean sending history over 7 days.
Accounts with high bounce rates are automatically paused to protect everyone's deliverability. Bad actors don't get second chances.
Dangerous file types (.exe, .bat, .scr) are blocked outright. Messages are capped at 20 recipients.
Every email sent through SendMailAs is properly authenticated. Our infrastructure stays clean so your emails land in inboxes.
First domain is free forever. Pro is a flat $29/yr - not per-domain, not per-user, not per-email. The price is the price.
Email content passes through routing infrastructure and goes straight to Gmail. We store domain configuration and encrypted SMTP credentials. Nothing else.
